Paris Manuscript G 1510-15

This notebook contains several pages that discuss the ramification of plants and has been described as a veritable treatise on botany.

However, it also contains drawings of mechanisms for the minting of coins that may relate to Leonardo’s Roman period (1513-16). On one page Leonardo claims to have outdone Alberti and Vitruvius in designing a shiplog.

The manuscript comprises of 93 folios.
